INTRODUCTION

TriO Mantova is a triathlon race under the aegis of FITRI. The planned distances are the Olympic triathlon (1500m swim, 40km bike, and 10km run) and the Sprint triathlon (750m swim, 20km bike, and 5km run).

By signing the registration form, the participant declares to possess a valid medical certificate for competitive triathlon activities as stated in this regulation and further declares:

  • To have read and fully accepted the regulation.

  • To meet the regulatory requirements.

  • To be aware of the characteristics of the event and to be in adequate physical and mental condition for participation.

  • To comply with the regulations, the race management's instructions, and the organizing staff's directions.

  • To allow the use of personal data by the entities involved in the event organization in compliance with GDPR Reg. 2016/679/EU.

  • To consent to the use of photographs, filmed images, and recordings of their participation in the event for any legitimate purpose, including advertising.

The schedule and races may be subject to changes. All participants are encouraged to check the race website a few days before the event for the latest updates. The official schedule is the one published on the event’s website.

PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS

Italian registered athletes (FITRI):

  • Must have a valid FITRI membership card for competitive triathlon activities and select the "REGISTERED ATHLETES" fee during registration.

  • All registered athletes must also provide a B1 COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE for triathlon.

  • Membership cards and medical certificates can be uploaded online during registration or later by logging into ENDU and accessing the reserved area.

Italian non-registered athletes:

  • Must select the "NON-REGISTERED" fee (the daily membership of €20.00 must be purchased on myFitri).

  • A B1 COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE for triathlon is required (certificates for other sports are not accepted).

Foreign registered athletes:

  • Must possess a valid INTERNATIONAL TRIATHLON UNION (ITU) MEMBERSHIP and select the "REGISTERED ATHLETES" fee during registration.

  • The foreign membership card must be uploaded online during registration or later by logging into ENDU and accessing the reserved area.

Foreign non-registered athletes:

  • Must select the "NON-REGISTERED" fee (the daily membership of €20.00 must be purchased on myFitri).

  • A B1 COMPETITIVE MEDICAL CERTIFICATE for triathlon is required (certificates for other sports and foreign medical certificates are not accepted).

REGISTRATION FEES AND PAYMENT METHODS

SPRINT:

  • €55.00 for registrations by March 25

  • €60.00 for registrations from March 26 to May 13

  • €65.00 for registrations from May 14 to June 24

  • U23 and S1: €25.00

  • JU: €15.00

  • YB: €8.00

OLYMPIC:

  • €70.00 for registrations by March 25

  • €75.00 for registrations from March 26 to May 13

  • €80.00 for registrations from May 14 to June 25

  • U23 and S1: €25.00

  • JU: €15.00

A daily membership fee of €20.00 applies for non-registered athletes (to be purchased on myFitri).

Registration includes:

Payment methods are those available on ENDU.net. Payments must be completed within 2 working days, otherwise, the registration will be canceled.

Bank transfer payments are not available within 7 days before registration closes. Only credit card payments will be accepted due to processing times.

GROUP REGISTRATIONS

Group registrations (minimum 5 participants) follow the same process as individual registrations on ENDU.net. Selecting "group registration" enables a fixed service fee of €5.00 per group and payment via bank transfer.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

  • OLYMPIC: Closes on June 24, 2025, at 23:59 or upon reaching full capacity.

  • SPRINT: Closes on June 25, 2025, at 23:59 or upon reaching full capacity.

CANCELLATION POLICY

No refunds will be issued for non-participation. However, the registration can be transferred to another TriO Series race or the next edition by May 27, 2025, with a €10.00 administration fee.

Registrations postponed to the next edition are not automatic, transferable, or refundable beyond the next year.

ATHLETE SUBSTITUTIONS & DISTANCE CHANGES

  • Substitutions are allowed up to June 24, 2025 (one athlete per club) provided the substitute has an active membership.

  • Distance changes are allowed. If moving to a longer distance, the participant must pay the fee difference. If moving to a shorter distance, no refunds will be given.

TRANSITION AREA

The transition area is in Mantova’s historic center, secured by fences and surveillance:

  • Until 15:00 on June 28, 2025

  • Until 17:00 on June 29, 2025

Bikes can be retrieved only by presenting the race bib.

TIMING AND RESULTS

Official timing by SDAM, using chip technology. Chips must be returned at the transition area exit after the race to collect bikes. Failure to return the chip incurs a €15.00 fee.

  • Top 3 per category

Total prize pool:

  • Olympic Distance: €3,000.00

  • Sprint Distance: €2,000.00

RACE CANCELLATION

If the race is canceled due to weather, it will not be rescheduled, and no refunds will be issued. If postponed, registrations remain valid.

For COVID-19-related cancellations, participants will receive a full refund or credit for another TriO Series event.

MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

All participants must wear:

  • Timing chip (throughout the race)

  • Helmet (during the bike segment)

  • Race bib (during the bike and run segments)

  • Helmet and bike stickers (throughout the race)
